Taping is becoming a useful treatment option that can help with prevention and rehabilitation of injuries. It is designed to encourage your body’s own healing processes while supporting muscles and joints without restricting your range of motion. It can be used to ease the strain on tissues that may be damaged, reduce swelling and pain, increase body awareness, help or hinder muscle activity, and help you to correct moving patterns.

In addition to being used following an injury, taping can be used by athletes to facilitate joint movement, stabilize joints during sport activity, or to aid in sport performance while in rehabilitation for an injury. It can also be used to help during pregnancy on the hips, SI joints, low back area or even as a cradle to the baby (similar to a pregnancy belt). Taping is used for many reasons, and many conditions. Here are just a few:

  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Shoulder injuries
  • Achilles Tendonitis
  • Back pain
  • Knee pain
  • Carpal Tunnel
  • Whiplash
  • Tennis Elbow
  • Rotator Cuff injuries
  • Scapular Stability
  • Postural Correction
  • Pregnancy
